God's Patient Plan

Reading
2 Peter 3:8-9
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

 Jeremiah 29:11-14
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. 14 And I will be found of you, saith the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

Devotional
God is not slow in keeping His promises—He is patient with you. While you may feel forgotten or overlooked, understand that God's timing reflects His mercy, not His negligence. He knows the plans He has for you, plans for peace and a future filled with hope. His patience creates space for your transformation. Like a coach with a playbook, God has designed the perfect strategy for your life, but the plan only comes alive through your participation. Today, recognize that God's delays are not denials. His patience is an invitation to seek Him wholeheartedly. When you respond to His plan with faith and obedience, you position yourself to experience the fullness of His promises.
