Storing Treasures in Heaven
Reading: Matthew 6:19-21; Luke 12:13-21
Devotional: Where you store your treasure reveals where your heart truly is. Earthly storage exposes your resources to moth, rust, and thieves—the inevitable decay of temporal things. But heavenly storage protects and multiplies your investment eternally. This doesn't mean ignoring practical financial wisdom, but it does mean prioritizing kingdom investments over personal accumulation. The rich young ruler walked away from eternal treasure because he couldn't release temporal wealth. Don't make his mistake. When you invest in God's kingdom—through generosity, compassion, and obedience—you're securing returns that transcend this life. Your finances are a spiritual issue, directly connected to your heart's allegiance.
