Connected to the Vine
Reading: John 15:1-8; Galatians 5:22-25
Devotional: A branch disconnected from the vine cannot produce fruit, no matter how hard it tries. Your fruitfulness isn't manufactured through self-effort but flows naturally from abiding in Christ. The vine determines the type and quality of fruit; the branch simply remains connected. When storms come and seasons change, your security isn't in your strength but in staying attached to the source. God isn't measuring your productivity against others—He's looking at whether you're yielding what He planted in you. The pruning process may be uncomfortable, but it positions you for greater fruitfulness. Today, commit to staying connected regardless of circumstances. Your job isn't to create fruit independently but to abide faithfully.
Reflection: What distractions are pulling you away from abiding in Christ? How can you reconnect today?
