Subduing Your Marketplace

Reading: Ephesians 6:10-18; Colossians 3:23-24

Devotional: Your marketplace isn't Wall Street—it's your living room, cubicle, classroom, and community. God commanded Adam to subdue even the perfect garden, which means in our chaotic world, kingdom representatives are desperately needed. You don't subdue through natural weapons but through spiritual authority. When you operate according to God's Word rather than the world's patterns, you bring order to chaos. Your co-workers, neighbors, and family are watching. Will they see someone fighting on the enemy's level, or will they witness kingdom authority in action? You're not working for human approval; you're working as unto the Lord. Every task becomes worship when done for His glory.

Reflection: How can I bring kingdom order to my specific marketplace today?
