The Open Door—Responding to God's Love
Reading
John 3:1-21
Devotional
Jesus told Nicodemus, "You must be born again." This wasn't a suggestion but a requirement for entering God's kingdom. God's love opened a door, but we must choose to walk through it. Repentance and baptism in Jesus' name aren't just religious rituals—they're our response to His love. When someone tells you they love you, you respond. God declared His love on Calvary; now He waits for your answer. Have you truly responded? Being born again means leaving behind who you were and embracing who God calls you to be. It means repenting of sin, being baptized for the remission of sins, and receiving the Holy Spirit. Today, examine your relationship with God. Have you walked through the door, or are you still standing outside? His love has made the way—will you respond?
