Courage to Enter the Promise

Numbers 14:6-9 KJV

6 And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes: 7 And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.
8 If the Lord delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey. 9 Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not.

Devotional

Sometimes, fear can prevent us from stepping into God's promises. Joshua and Caleb had the courage to trust God's promise despite the challenges ahead, while the other spies were paralyzed by fear.
What fears are holding you back from fully embracing God's call on your life?
Remember Joshua and Caleb's words: "If the Lord is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land." Today, pray for courage to step out in faith, trusting that if God has called you, He will equip you for the journey ahead.

Amen. I think this is both in the spiritual and the natural. But yes, we have to put our own reservation aside and trust that God will keep us, equip us and guide us!
