Love That Covers

Love covers a multitude of sins—not by hiding them, but by extending forgiveness that leads to transformation. This isn't about enabling destructive behavior; it's about loving people through their process of change. When someone wrongs you, your first instinct might be to expose them, to make sure everyone knows what they did. But God's love in you calls for something different: a covering that protects their dignity while addressing the issue directly. Think about how God has covered your sins. He didn't broadcast your failures; He dealt with them at the cross. Today, who needs you to cover them with love? Is there someone whose mistake you've been holding over their head? Release them. Love them toward change, not shame them into hiding.
