Seeking God Wholeheartedly

Jeremiah 29:11-13 KJV and Psalm 63:1-8 KJV

Jeremiah 29:11-13 KJV
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Psalm 63:1-8 KJV
1 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; 2 To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. 3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. 4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: 6 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. 7 Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. 8 My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

Devotional

God delights in those who seek Him with their whole heart. The sermon emphasized the importance of maintaining our first love for God and desiring His presence. Consider your current relationship with God.
Has your passion for Him waned?
Take time to reflect on moments when you felt closest to God.
What practices or attitudes helped cultivate that intimacy?
Commit to rekindling your love for God by intentionally seeking His presence through prayer, worship, and meditation on His Word.
