26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

True spiritual change isn't about outward conformity, but inward transformation. God promises to give us a new heart and put His Spirit within us. This is the power that enables us to truly shine our light and love others as God loves us. Reflect on areas where you've tried to change through sheer willpower. How might those areas look different if you allowed God to change your heart? Pray for God to soften any hardened areas of your heart and to fill you afresh with His Spirit. As you yield to His transforming work, you'll find yourself naturally reflecting His light and love to the world around you.
