Justified by Faith, Not Works
Scripture:
“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” – Romans 5:1 (KJV)
Devotional:
The sermon reminded us that we don’t need to prove our worthiness to God — Jesus already settled the case. When we feel accused by our past or inadequate because of our flaws, Romans 5:1 reminds us that faith in Jesus makes us right with God. This justification gives us peace — not just a feeling, but a standing. We are no longer God’s enemies, but His children. Through Christ, we don’t live under condemnation — we live under grace.
Reflection:
Have you been trying to "earn" your place with God by being good enough? Today, rest in the truth that Jesus is enough. You are justified by faith, not performance.
