The Power of the Blood

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8 (KJV)

During the sermon, we were reminded that our sin is undeniable — but God’s love is unshakable. He didn’t wait for us to change to die for us. He died while we were still in our mess. The cross isn’t for perfect people — it’s for the broken. That’s why we can “plead the blood.” In the courtroom of heaven, it’s not our excuses that defend us, but the blood of Jesus that covers us.
Reflection
When the enemy reminds you of your sins, remind him of the blood. Have you truly accepted that you are already loved, forgiven, and covered?
