Rivers of Living Water

John 7:37-39
37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. 39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
Devotional
Jesus promises that believers will have rivers of living water flowing from within them. This is a picture of the abundant life and influence we can have through the power of the Holy Spirit. Today, think about how your life impacts others. Are you a source of refreshment and life to those around you? Ask God to fill you to overflowing, so that His love and power can flow through you to others. What specific step can you take today to be a channel of God's living water to someone in need?
