Acknowledging Our Need for God

Romans 3:23-24
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
James 4:8
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Devotional
We often try to navigate life on our own, stumbling in the dark like the blind man in John 9. Today's reading reminds us that we all fall short and need God's grace. Just as the blind man acknowledged his condition, we must recognize our spiritual blindness and need for God's healing touch. Reflect on areas in your life where you've been trying to manage without God. How can you draw near to Him today? Remember, when we take a step toward God, He promises to draw near to us. Let's approach Him with honesty and vulnerability, laying our struggles at His feet.
