God is not a man, that he should lie; Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Behold, I have received commandment to bless: And he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.
Isaiah 55:8-11 KJV

God's word carries absolute authority and certainty. When Balaam declared that God is not a man that He should lie, he was establishing a fundamental truth: God's promises are unshakeable. Unlike human words that can be broken or forgotten, God's declarations accomplish exactly what He intends. His thoughts are higher than ours, His ways beyond our understanding. When circumstances contradict His promises, we must choose faith over sight. Today, identify one promise God has spoken over your life. Instead of analyzing how it will happen, simply declare: "I believe it because He said so." Water that seed of promise with faith-filled prayer. God's word will not return void—it will accomplish His purpose in your life.
