Responding to Salvation

Reading: Romans 6:3-4; Hebrews 2:3

Devotional: Knowing about salvation and walking in it are two different things. Justification, peace, and hope are only secured when you respond to the gospel. As many as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ—not everyone, but "as many as." If you don't respond, you don't receive. God is a gentleman; He won't snatch blessings from you, but He'll receive you when you come. The question today is simple: Will you draw near to Him? Complete security comes from complete surrender. Your faith must be on display, not just in your mind.
Reflection: Have you fully responded to God's call on your life? Are there areas where you're holding back?

Application: Make one concrete decision today to draw closer to God—whether through repentance, baptism, prayer, or full surrender of a specific area you've been withholding.

Closing Prayer: Father, thank You for making me completely secure in You. Help me to stand firm in grace, glory in trials, and rest in Your unfailing love. I surrender every doubt, every fear, and every area I've tried to control. I trust that You are who You say You are and that You will do what You've promised. In Jesus' name, Amen.
