The Love That Floods Our Hearts
Reading: Romans 5:5; 1 Peter 1:6-7
Devotional: Our hope will never disappoint because it's anchored in God's unfailing love. Paul says this love isn't just a drop—it's a flood poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit. When you're in the test, you aren't searching for God's love; you're swimming in it. The world's hope fails when bank accounts dry up or doctors give bad reports, but your hope is anchored in something unchangeable: the love of God. You can't know God as Deliverer until you need deliverance. The evidence of who God is comes through what you've walked through with Him.
Reflection: How have you experienced God's love in past trials? How does remembering His faithfulness strengthen your current hope?
Application: Journal about a time God proved faithful. Let this testimony fuel your faith for what you're facing now.
