Stop Defiling the Temple
Reading: 1 Corinthians 3:17; Romans 8:28
Devotional: God takes temple desecration seriously. The scripture is clear: "God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple." This isn't just about spiritual pollution—it includes how you treat your physical body. You cannot continuously poison yourself with unhealthy food, neglect sleep and exercise, entertain toxic media, and expect God to bless what you're destroying. Temple care is holistic. It means stewarding your physical health, guarding your mind from corruption, and protecting your spirit from compromise. Stop making excuses for habits you know are harming you. If a doctor has warned you, if the Holy Spirit has convicted you, if wisdom has instructed you—obey. God desires to use you powerfully, but He cannot fully inhabit a temple you're actively destroying.
What one change will you make today to honor the temple you are?
