Your Response to His Why
Reading: Acts 2:37-41
Devotional: You know the what—Jesus died, was buried, and rose. You know the why—to validate His love, substitute for your sin, and transform your life. Now comes the how: How will you respond? When people heard Peter preach about the risen Christ, they asked, "What shall we do?" Peter's answer remains unchanged: repent, be baptized in Jesus' name for the remission of sins, and receive the Holy Spirit. This isn't about religious performance; it's about relationship and rebirth. Repentance turns you from sin. Baptism buries the old you. The Holy Spirit raises you to new life. Christ paid the price for you to be new—not improved, but completely new. Don't let His blood be in vain.
Today, respond to what He did and why He did it. Say yes to the new life He died and rose to give you.
