Waiting in the Stillness

Reading: Isaiah 40:28-31

Devotional:
The most challenging stage of restoration is the waiting. After the pieces are gathered and positioned, nothing seems to happen. This stillness feels unbearable when bills are due, relationships are strained, and answers seem delayed. Yet Scripture promises that those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. In the stillness, we're forced to hear God's voice above the noise of our circumstances. We're compelled to open our Bibles, to pray with desperation, to seek Him with our whole heart. The waiting isn't punishment—it's preparation. God is layering strength into your foundation, pouring healing oil into your wounds, and positioning you for the next season. Don't despise the waiting room; it's actually the preparation room.

Reflection Question: What is God teaching you in this season of waiting that you couldn't learn any other way?
